Pork Dumpling Hamburger Sliders

• 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
• 1 bag angel hair shredded cabbage
• 1/4 cup sliced green onion
• 3 Tbsp. rice vinegar
• 2 Tbsp. olive oil
• 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
• 1/4 tsp. Pepper
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1 Tbsp. sriracha hot sauce or more to taste
• 1 1/2 lb. ground pork
• 1/2 cup finely chopped green onion
• 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
• 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
• 1 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger
• 1 tsp. garlic powder
• 1 tsp. kosher salt
• 1/2 tsp. pepper
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
• 2 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
Recipe
- 1Combine cabbage, green onion, rice vinegar, olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper for the slaw in a bowl and toss well. Set aside in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
- 2Stir together mayonnaise and Sriracha in a small bowl and set aside.
- 3Combine pork, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and egg in a bowl and mix well. Stir in breadcrumbs until just combined. Form mixture into 12 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick.
- 4Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Working in batches, add ½ of the patties to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 4 minutes on each side.
- 5Spread mayo on tops and bottoms of slider buns. Add burger patties to bottom buns and top with slaw. Place top bun over slaw and serve immediately.
